I was a Vandy football player who could not run drills with his own son. I was a CEO who could not lead his own body. I was a husband watching his wife pass him in every way that mattered. — Eric Hensley
I built three companies. Heavy civil construction. Home building. Real estate development. Built them while I built nothing in myself.
I hit 460 pounds. My son was on the football field one Saturday and I was on the sideline, gassed walking from the truck. My wife Niki was up at 4 AM in prep for a bodybuilding show, becoming everything I had stopped being.
I went home that night, told God I was done making excuses, and started the climb.
Two years later, I am down 170 pounds. The goal is not smaller. The goal is athlete. Six-pack. 400-pound bench. 7-minute mile. The body God gave me, handed back to Him in the best shape I can manage.
I built Hensley Built Coaching for the man who has been where I was. I am not your coach. I am the brother who walked further down the road and came back for you.
